An Evidence-Based, Behavioral Approach to
Behavior Change
2Morrow's programs are based on a wealth of research from around the world that looks at using concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT, to help people change their lives for the better. ACT is a third-wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model that is especially helpful in dealing with unhelpful or unpleasant thoughts, feelings, or urges. This offers new hope for helping people change health behaviors and improve coping skills and resilience. There are over 300 randomized control trials published on Acceptance and Commitment in a variety of focus areas.
Current programs are available in 2Morrow Health, our digital coaching platform. Research has been done on this tech/approach under other names including: iCanQuit, SmartQuit, 2Morrow Quit.
2Morrow Research Collaborations
2Morrow works with some of the top minds in ACT research and practice. From developing content and reviewing programs to collaborating on clinical research, evidence-based practice is part of our DNA.
2Morrow has participated in 8+ clinical trials on 2Morrows core programs/platform. Typical outcomes include improvements in mood, impact and valued action.

Large Randomized Clinical Trial Validates 2Morrow's Digital Health Approach to Behavioral-modification and Proves that Apps can Help Smokers Quit
“This is a landmark study that fast-forwards the field of digital health, including its critical application during the COVID-19 pandemic helping people who smoke quit. The Fred Hutch researchers meticulously recruited and engaged a diverse sample of smokers, successfully retaining over 85% of those for 12 months. The size of the quitting effect and the difference between the ACT app and the comparison app was similar to effects seen in successful drug trials, providing very compelling evidence that using this app will help people quit smoking.”

“2Morrow is one of the few mobile health companies that recognize that effective mhealth interventions require the integration of behavioral science and technology. Their applications start with the premise that simply receiving basic education and a way to keep a log of behavioral changes is not enough to produce long-lasting and meaningful change. In fact, 2Morrow apps teach sophisticated psychological strategies and specialized skills that are key to making impactful behavioral changes, modifying one’s lifestyle and improving quality of life. Moreover, they take into account that chronic health problems often come with depression and anxiety that must also be addressed.”
